My name is Tessa Walker, and I’m a multidisciplinary designer who loves turning ideas into things people can see, feel, and experience.

My love for design started at my grandma’s kitchen table, where she made sure I learned cursive because she was convinced it was becoming a lost art. Those little lessons made me hyperaware of lettering, typography, and the tiny details that make something feel uniquely human.

Before digital design, my first love was making things with my hands. I initially pursued painting and drawing in college before discovering Human Experience Design & Interaction, where I earned my bachelor’s degree from Utah State University (Go Aggies!) with an emphasis in multimedia and culturally responsive design.

Since then, I’ve worked in various industries including sports marketing, eCommerce, and life sciences, creating everything from branding and digital content to websites, signage, and physical media. I love that design can live anywhere: on a screen, on a wall, or in something you can hold.

At the heart of it, I just really love making things. Whether I’m working with pixels, paint, paper, or typography, I’m happiest turning a little curiosity into something meaningful.

When I’m not designing, you can usually find me hanging out with my husband, getting lost in a good book (ask me about Throne of Glass), and drinking an ice-cold diet coke.
